Re: For Those That CC Regularly...

I had the finger extension on my mags. I could still only get 2 fingers on it.

I'm with you on practice. I am at the range a few times a month. If I skip a month and don't practice at all, I'm shooting pretty poorly for the first few minutes, regardless of the pistol.

Re: Witches To Cast Spell On Trump

They're screwed. I'm already protecting Trump with a "bounce back" spell. I wrote it down below if you ever want to use it.

Re: Recent VCDL VA-ALERT - Help Needed on an Item Covered

Exactly. There is a version that the Senate is working on that hasn't made it to the Governor yet. I'm willing to guess that it will get the same smackdown that the Bill from the House of Delegates got. This way, McAweful can confirm that he's a Lefty Lib SOB that is party first, party always, screw...

Re: For Those That CC Regularly...

Since open carry is legal in VA, I don't typically care if I print. Most of the time, I have a shirt over it so the zombie sheep don't get scared. I do open carry on occasion. When I CC, I carry a full-size gun all day, every day, year round. I typically use an OWB slide holster with my Glock 17 and...

Re: Recent VCDL VA-ALERT - Help Needed on an Item Covered

Well, it made it to the Governor, and to no surprise, he vetoed the Bill. I should not have expected anything else from Governor McAweful.

I guess this is not going to fly until we get a pro 2a governor.

Re: 3 Different guns, or are they?

Probably the best example I have seen so far. The only issues that I have with this line of defense of our rights is, every lefty responds with "That's why no guns should be legal." The debate is either wasted on them or blows up in our face because they don't care about our rights. [ Post...

Re: Why Hollow Point Ammunition is the Safer Choice

Just say when. I'll contribute to the melon fund. We have to record it too.

Re: Why Hollow Point Ammunition is the Safer Choice

I assumed this was common knowledge and the argument from the anti-2A crowd was just smoke and mirrors. For decades, I've carried 2 mags... the one in the gun has hollow points for max stopping power and reduced risk of over penetration. The second has FMJ's in the event I needs to shoot through cov...

Re: 1911 or AR

Glad to hear! That's a great group for 100 rounds or less. My own personal experience... none of my AR's were consistent shooters for the first few hundred rounds. Just keep it cleaned and lubed and you should do well.

Re: Meanwhile, in Europe

Eh, the truth is, they are cowards unless they are in massive groups and outnumber us 1000 to 1. I don't mean to make lite of it, but nothing they do or say is based on reality. Its had to take them seriously and it's even more difficult to properly plan defensive operations against people who are o...

Re: Meanwhile, in Europe

Don't fall into the trap that the Left are all weak, unarmed, screaming-without-substance folks. Look at how many of the mass shootings in the last 8 years were executed by left-wingers. This is no joke... I was in a California Lib gun owner forum and those people are all geared up and ready for ba...

Re: 1911 or AR

Looks great! Of the entry level stuff, Sightmark is one of the best, if not the best entry level brands. The inexpensive red dot that was on my MP5 (the only one that didn't break) was a Sightmark Reflex sight. I also used their 5x magnifier with my EOTech for near 3 years, too.

Re: Petition: Open Machine Gun Registry

Don't know. I put it up on 3 others that I belong to, plus FB and YT. Several Celeb YouTuber's have videos about it. The last video had over 70,000 views in 24 hours... but it just seems like people either don't care or think someone else will do it.

Re: Petition: Open Machine Gun Registry

I'm getting kind of bummed about this. 160,000,000 gun owners in the US and we can't get 100,000 signatures in 30 days? I had to be because people just don't know about it. I haven't talked to a gun owner yet that doesn't agree with this petition. What else could be holding people back?

Re: 1911 or AR

I have actually run a few inexpensive red dots in the past. The draw backs were always the same... The reflective surfaces that the dot was projected on are heavily tinted to make the dot so up better. That is typically because it's an LED making the dot, not a laser. That leads to very poor visibil...
