Looking to lease some hunting land

Postby emfneal08 » Mon, 04 Jan 2010 18:49:27

Well since I had a rough year deer hunting with virtually no where to hunt except for our public game reserve, me and my uncle and a few other are looking to lease a bit a land for the following year. I would like to find some farm land between 200-300 acres for lease for just a single year. It would also have to be close to Danville particularly near chatham and martinsville area if possible.

If anyone has anything to lease feel free to post up or send me a PM. Thanks in advance! -Eddie

Resurrecting this because I'm looking too. Back in the mid-80s we used to buy permission to hunt on Chesapeake Paper's land for $20 a year. I can't find out if they still do that or not. Do any of the big timber/paper companies still do this? Or am I stuck either hunting WMAs or joining a hunt club for $500 a year?
