Picked one up at SEG today - great price, great service. Immediately took it out on the range, and man, it's a sweet shooter. I bought it mainly as a second carry 9mm - ah, who am I kidding. I bought it since the fiancee wants a S&W Shield, and I thought it would be a good gun for her to try as well. Ah, darn it, I bought it cuz I wanted another gun and all of the above.

In any case, I put the smallest backstrap on it and my fiancee loves the way it fits her hand. It still feels fine, albeit a little slender, in my hand, so I'll keep the backstrap on it. In any case, it's a breeze to change.

My usual EDC is an XDM 9mm compact. After even just 60 rounds, I can tell the S&W is going to give the XDM a run for its money as my holster companion.
