At least it sounds like they are actually trying to make sure they process those applications in time before the law mandated deadline. Even though from what the article said, there is not any penalty against the state if they miss the deadline. They could have sung a different tune, by saying sorry your were delayed, but tough luck. If nothing else, Wisconsin now has a new stream of income.
