My Wife....

Postby Vahunter » Sat, 29 Aug 2009 17:31:51

She went out of town yesterday and I asked he to stop and pick me up a couple of things from DeGoff's in Mechanicsville. I needed a .30-.30 shell holder and some bullets to reload. She came home with everything I asked for PLUS, a Bersa Thunder .380 for herself. She's wanted one for a while and found a good deal on it. She shot it a couple of times this afternoon and loves it.

Wow, she actually found .380 ammo to go with her Bersa?

That's quite the woman you've got there sir. The truly amazing part of the story is she found .380 ammo. You'd better hold on tight that young lady there. :hysterical:

Good deal, Henry. I must say that my Young would have trouble finding a shell holder but she does a good job keeping the fridge stocked with my favorite beer. I'd love to see her bring home a pistol for herself.

Being .380 ammo is scarce I didn't flip out too much when I saw the price tag on the ammo. Remington hollow points, box of 20 $28.95

The gun was 60.00 cheaper than our local dealer.

I'm sure you've got a set Henry but its even more difficult to find carbide (or regular) .380 loading dies - at least every time I look for them. One of the big reasons I'm not to hip on getting a .380 right now. Wouldnt mind paying a premium price for the ammo if I could reload it.

Just by chance DK I know an Old man who has a set of .380 dies that he's not using.

Thats a real shame. Those kind of things get lonely just sitting around collecting dust. Well, I spoke too soon. Cabelas has RCBS .380 carbide dies in stock. Last time I checked you couldnt find those things anywhere.

You have a heck of a wife there, reminds me of mine! She's OK with a pistol, but outshoots me with long guns every time. :machinegun:

Oh yeah... Pics of the new Bersa? :gunporn:
