Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see it in the forum. Lately I have been getting a pre-recorded message from the founder of Front Sight every other day touting the $300 buck life time membership with a so-called handgun.

This comes on the heel of the $99 buck pitch to take any course offered by Front Sight.

All of this sounds way to good to be true. So has anyone taken them up on their various offers? I thought they were undergoing bankruptcy proceedings?

Hey, Jim. Great post. I looked at that offer and decided not to jump. I haven't heard FS mentioned in a while. Try the search function. Maybe I missed it...

I had called them up to discuss one of their offers. I asked them about the bankruptcy rumor. They claimed it was just fearmongering by their detractors, and that they were in fact hiring and expanding. This was over 2 years ago. I never took any training there due to $ and too far away.

My inbox blew up from all the Front Sight promo crap, so I put an end to that foolishness after I figured out every thing I needed to know I could get from right here.

I don't know anything about the training itself but if it's anything like the website it must be hookie and annoying.

The Front Sight website is one of the big reasons that my brother-in-law and I decided to go Thunder Ranch this summer. Can't wait.

I've heard the training is pretty good and a value (I've never gone), but yes, their website screams "snake oil."
