Anybody no what happened to vaguntrader.com,website gone?

Probably exceeded their bandwidth. They tend to do that around the end of the month sometimes....

Wow that has not happened in at least a year,they better get more bandwidth,they get more and more folk's everyday

I joined there a few weeks ago and have been wondering what's going on. I've been tying to get on all day!

Yeah fellas, I just wanted to add that "I feel your pain" as well.....
I don't post on that site a whole lot, but I was just getting some "traction" on a gun trade I wanted to follow up on. Bummer when the site goes dark at the critical moment!

Take it easy - it'll be back up soon enough. Of course, I'm pretty p-o'ed that my potential deals are in limbo!!

yah, still not up. I was going to purchase something but now I have no idea how to get a hold of the guy. Lesson learned though, I'm going thru email as a back up from now on.

Well, there's always the VGOF Marketplace, which is up all of the time

Same problem. I was supposed to have a sale this morning. I showed up but don't know If the other guy did or why he didn't.

A hacker that calls himself tn-pirate hacked the server at MindRaven, the server I am on. Wiped out the server and put up his muslim garbage.

So hopefully Mindraven has us back up using a saved backup files.

Well, glad to hear that it should be on the restore. I'm sure it was just a known exploit; nothing innovative here. It underscores the importance of daily backups as this is more likely the fault of the server/farm owner not staying current on revisions and security patches rather than the owner of the board who is merely using space.

Either way, best of luck getting it back up. It gave me an excuse to sign up on this board that I have lurked around for well over a year.

I tried to log on yesterday and was led to a page saying VAGT had been hacked. I emailed VAGT to see when he might be back online but no response yet. I suspect he's busy. Meanwhile if the guy who I'm meeting next week to get some P228 mags from finds this, please get in touch I didn't get your number from your PM before the site went down.

But the useless piece of space is probably on an IP rotator with a spoof program to appear overseas.
