These little tidbits also lend much doubt to him never being a Muslim...he could indeed currently be a Christian but I doubt it...

With his background most of us would have trouble getting a security clearance and he's the president...

Thank you much, your post simply shows your dislike of the President. That's not an issue or problem for me, that's your right. Fortunately tho, you can't create facts. Just for kicks I'll key to your big 7.

1. My birth certificate, my son's, and my daughter's are all like President Obama's which was examined by numerous media outlets, and was online for the longest. It's the same birth certificate that was used to get his passport. The same as that used by millions and millions of other Americans. I do not have my original birth certificate. It's on file at the State. While the President's family had 2 papers print birth notices, my birth went unremarked. Guess I have a problem too.

2. President Obama released exactly the same medical info as John McCain and every other Presidential candidate, and what former Presidents released, i.e. a medical summary and a statement from their attending physicians. His college transcripts are none of anyone's business. Can you point me to the site other Presidential college transcripts are listed? What is public about his education? He graduated from Columbia University with a BA and with a J.A. Degree Magna Cum Laude from Harvard, plus he was editor of the Harvard Law Review. Why would anyone want more? Have you seen John McCain's, or President Bush's transcripts, or their officer efficiency reports? Who asked to see them and why?

3. Any number of American children have one, or even both parents who were foreign born. We don't really know if the President's father was a Muslim, a Christian, or an Atheist. Most of the senior Obama's tribe are Christians. Who cares and why does it matter if one parent or both are foreign born?

4. From ages 6 to 10 Obama was out of the country, approx 4 years. You can easily find Americans who spent that much or more time out of the country. Again, so what? That he was out of the country at a young age proves nothing. Besides his mother was with him all those years.

5. The Madrassa myth has been completely debunked by news outlets too numerous to mention. Many, such as 60 Minutes, ran specials from Indonesia. The facts: Obama went to 2 schools in Indonesia. 3 years at a Catholic School, and one year at a public school that accepted all faiths, and no faiths for that matter. That school initially established by the Dutch in 1932 continues to operate today. The Protestant Head Mistress from 72 to the 80s who used to wear miniskirts and shorts to school laughs when she's told that some people called her school a Madrassa.

6. What's your source for a Statue of POTUS in Kenya. He has one in China. I found 7 other Presidents who have statues in other nations. Again I ask, so what? If there's a statue in Kenya so what? Unlike most multi-racial Americans he is able to trace that part of his heritage to a place in Africa, we should see that as a good thing. What American doesn't want to know their heritage?

7. Again I ask, so what? I know lots of people who work for the Federal government who have foreign relatives, including spouses. Btw all of those I know have high level security clearances. There is nothing anywhere in any regulation, law or anything else, that says such people can't have security clearances. If you've lived an insular life the background check is pretty simple, if not it just takes longer and that's not trouble. I'll bet my last dollar that you know that.

The funny thing about all this, is what is never emphasized about POTUS's young years:

8. Obama did not grow up with his father. His father left before he was 2 yrs old. He next saw him when he was 10 years old for less than a month. By that time his father was a broken, embittered man. It's a total leap to give this stranger some central role in Obama's life.

9. Obama's mom was with him for the 1st ten years, and 5 years between 1972-1975. That's 15 years of his young life.

10. Obama was raised by his grandparents in Hawaii for 8 years, from 5th grade (age 10) to high school graduation. In Hawaii he attended a well know private school and prep school.

At a cursory glance it's easy to see who had the most influence on the young Obama, i.e. his White mother and his White middle class grandparents. Her, and especially his grandparents were the one constants in his life during his formative years. But into the sinister conspiracy spanning the globe that attempts to turn Obama into some sort of Manchurian Candidate you can't fit a middle class family with a WWII veteran grandfather, who apparently was in General Patton's Third Army, and a grandmother who was in banking raising a multiracial child.

Why? Because the latter is a quintessential American story. It's easily recognizable by most Americans. It's the story to varying degrees of some 5 million multi-racial Americans who are our fastest growing demographic.

To be true this conspiracy necessarily would include State, Federal, and foreign officials, prominent private citizens American and foreign, Obama's mom, and grandparents, the main stream media, plus the State Department, the FBI and our National Security apparatus. All other conspiracies would pale in comparison.

I surmise that for some, Obama has to be seen as illegitimate. He can't possibly be our legal President. There is no way he legitimately won, or earned the Presidency. He is the puppet who is controlled by the puppet masters who put him in power.

There's no doubt POTUS is vulnerable in 2012; however, if Republicans come at the President in the "Birther Way" in an attempt to paint him as "The Other", welcome to the second Obama Inauguration. It's a losing strategy. Most Americans,including most Republicans, Independents, and even conservatives will not buy what has been proven over, and over to be false.

So why do people persist with this? I really don't know. Maybe the best one can say is that we Americans just love a conspiracy theory.
