No gun stores in the 5 boroughs. The rural counties are basically "must issue" though, very gun friendly judges in the Hinterlands.
NY is a huge state, its not just the metro area.
Just you wait only a matter of time before he wants refills and multiple soda purchases outlawed.

They already did that. When they adopted the Body Mass Index (BMI) instead of the Met Life Tables, they made hundreds of thousands of Americans (including Brad Pitt) obese with the stroke of a pen.

I don't think it's a good idea to put that online. WHO KNOWS who's checking? I love big-caliber and longe-range rifles and 1911 pistols, and I've got a few.

I can always use another 1911.

When I did weight checks for promotions in the Army I'd accidentally drop alot of pounds for guys that were obviously very fit but failed the weight test due to BMI idiocy. Muscle weighs more than fat, duh.
Another mindless military rule to be ignored.
When I got out basic training I weighed 153lbs, my dad asked if I just got out of Auschwitz given I looked like a skeleton...coincidentally my "ideal" weight for the "ideal" BMI is 160lbs...that aint healthy at all.
