Speaking of prepping and such..................

Postby dorminWS » Mon, 02 Jul 2012 15:35:11

Saw something on H2 last night that mentioned what I thought they were calling the "coburn bible". Turned out it was the "Kolbrin Bible", which I'd never heard of before. New grist for the armageddon mill, I guess.

I don't think it's a good idea to put that online. WHO KNOWS who's checking? I love big-caliber and longe-range rifles and 1911 pistols, and I've got a few.

I can always use another 1911.

Sorry....

I have a hard time reading anything after this; "Global warming has become a planetary crisis."

I know just what you mean. And another thing that makes me more than skeptical is that it does not seem to be available unless you want to shell out 100 bucks or so. I sure as hell ain't THAT curious about it. I'm intrigued mostly because to the alleged Celtic connection.

The world is not ending yet, well unless we do it.

Also I stopped believing that global warming crap when I read a study on the climate changes that have occured over the last 500 years.
About our living by a pulsar.

Just look at the masterful stradivarius violin, it was made during a climate low. During this time period the trees they used to make them were densely grained making for a superior wood but this type of grain only happens when trees take an extremely long slow time growing which only can happen when it is unseasonably cold.

Now as with lows there are also highs, again blame the pulsar. The sun is growing in intensity thus we're getting hotter.

I'm not saying that polluting isn't really bad but just not end the world bad.

i believe in hemispherical warming in the summer and cooling in the winter. Of course the opposite lower hemisphere is experiencing the inverse we do.

How do they extrapolate a global warming theory out of less than a 100 years of emperical data when they say the earth is billions of years old. I bet these same people can pick the mega millions lotto numbers too. Climate change...here is a news flash...it happens every freakin day!

Global warming is as real as global cooling; each has its turn and this is how it has been and will be until the sun burns out and cool wins once and for all after the red giant scorches everything and then recedes back into a white dwarf.

I consider myself a coservationist/environmentalist in that I think the world is worth protecting/saving to the best of our ability for future generations, and there can be as best a balance as possible between meeting human needs now and conserving for tomorrow, but I am forced to think the global warming CO2 stuff really is some weird anti industrial cabal because there is no science to support it.

Why single out CO2? Its terrible at trapping heat! Its not often I delve into tinfoil hat land, but carbon taxes really must be solely intended as job and industry killers or have some other vague esoteric purpose I'm not aware of.
