Wonder if this is a forerunner to that UN Treaty Nonsense that the sick misguided jackass SOB's in the administration are touting???

From VCDL:

Many of you have sent me a link to a Senate Judiciary meeting announcement that just came out:

http://judiciary.senate.gov/hearings/he ... fm?id=4771

The announcement, which is titled, "Firearms in Commerce: Assessing the Need for Reform in the Federal Regulatory Process" says nothing about what the hearing is about, but sure sounds scary.

However, with some digging and confirmation from the NRA, it is about reforming the BATFE and is pro-gun:

http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Feder ... px?id=5210

http://www.nraila.org/Issues/FactSheets ... p;issue=28

Unfortunately, Virginia's two Senators, Mark Warner and Jim Webb, have NOT cosponsored the bill (S. 941)!

Let's ask Senators Warner and Webb to cosponsor S. 941:

Senator Warner's web mail:

http://warner.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=Contact

Senator Webb's web mail:

http://webb.senate.gov/contact.cfm

Suggested message:

As a constituent, I urge you to cosponsor S. 941 to provide much needed pro-gun reforms to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Please let me know if you are going to cosponsor S. 941 or not.

Well, I'll concede the credit to you as I am admittedly not a VCDL member... Why yes, I am known to procrastinate.

Yep! Got that from Philip last night.

IF YOU ARE NOT A VCDL MEMBER! LET ME EXPLAIN:

For the cost of one box of ammo you get a group of pitbulls, er... grassroots activists that have CHANGE laws in Virginia!

So much so, I have gotten LEO'S to join the VCDL, or at least get the ALERTS, so they can be up to date on Firearms laws!

It's $25 for a WHOLE year, includes a card that allows you with a CHP to purchase firearms DIRECTLY from the CMP!

C'mon! JOIN! SERIOUSLY! :first:
