Obama's "under the radar" gun control agenda

Postby OakRidgeStars » Fri, 30 Dec 2011 08:46:06

John Lott hits a home run with this article on Obama's not-so-secret agenda to strip Americans of their rights under the Second Amendment. If we fail to defeat Obama in 2012, we will surely lose our right to keep and bear arms.

The long and short of it is that aside from our votes, there's not a damned thing we can do about it. I'm voting against him, obviously (he's been screwing the military since day one), but I'm afraid the unwashed masses-you know, the "99%" who refuse to actually work towards anything and just want handouts-will put him back in, regardless. We can lean on our OWN lobbyists, yes, but it's far from certain if it will be anything beyond too little, too late.

seriously. Too many of us sit around and complain, but then do little outside of our vote. Yes, our vote counts, but we need to also be active in shedding some light so others can be enlightened!

Why do people turn out in (relative) droves for the one election where by law your vote doesn't count?

Yet stay away from polls on local races where elections have been won by a single vote?

The electoral college elects the Prez, not us. Everyone could literally stay home and wouldn't matter, ditto if every single eligible voter voted.
So rattle my bones all over the stones, I'm only a beggar-man whom nobody owns. Oh, see how words as old as sin, fit me like a glove.

I'm here and here I'll stay.
