Navy Seal defense fund

Postby GS78 » Thu, 21 Jan 2010 10:18:56

As most of you know, this trial is being moved to Bagdad to accomodate the terrorist who was alledgedly punched in the stomach by McCabe. This will prove to be extremely costly for McCabe and his family, the government will not pick up the tab for his witnesses to go to Bagdad, but will pay the other costs of moving the entire process over to that craphole in the sand instead of bringing the terrorist over here? ok I don't get it really, since we can bring all the gitmo boys here? The trial is set for may 2010. Anyway if you want to contribute to his defense fund:

Press Release: SO2 Matthew McCabe, one of three Navy SEALs being charged with the abuse of a detainee who is suspected of killing and mutilating four Blackwater Contractors in Fallujah in 2004, faced arraignment in a military court on Dec 7, 2009. Petty Officer (PO) McCabe is being charged with punching the detainee in the stomach. He faces court-martial, a year in jail and a bad conduct discharge.

On December 11, 2009, SO2 McCabe formally notified the government of his intent to plead “Not Guilty” to all charges and is requesting a trial by a panel of military members, including enlisted members.

Public Response

HUMAN EVENTS has posted a petition requesting the Secretary of Defense, the Honorable Robert M. Gates, to dismiss the charges against the three Navy SEALs, SO2 McCabe, SO2 Keefe and SO1 Huertas.

The Law Firm of Puckett & Faraj, PC is grateful for the outpouring of public support for these Navy SEALs. The Firm represents PO McCabe, the main defendant in the case. Several have asked how they may contact the Navy and United States Central Command to voice their support for these three Navy SEALs. The addresses for their senior commanding officers are:

Convening Authority: MG Charles T. Cleveland SOCCENT/CC 7701 Tampa Point Boulevard McDill AFB, FL 33621

Administrative Authorities: Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Gary Roughead 2000 Navy Pentagon Washington, DC 20350-2000 and the Secretary of the Navy, The Honorable Ray Mabus 1000 Navy Pentagon Washington, DC 20350-1000

At this point, two Defense Funds have been set up for all three Navy SEALs.

This is how "they" treat their own.

There is no ethical or moral reason to continue supporting this crooked and putrid regime, one that holds foreign "enemy combatants" in a higher regard than its own citizens.

No, the only justice will be for the states to abolish the federal government and start anew. It's not going to be easy, but without a reboot, this will continue to happen to good men and women in all walks of life.

Yeah, I'm guessing George Clooney and/or Brad Pitt will not be having a telethon for these Patriots. I won't be watching either of those two jerkoff's on their star- studded Homowood telethon this weekend for haiti, but, I will be stopping by our local Bank of America branch.

Sending this trial to Baghad is the ultimate insult on top of the ones already placed on these guys.Ironic that the Gitmo boys get to stay here though...Double Standard? This administration has its priorities backwards IMHO.There was nothing to be gained by announcing the results of that mission short of publicity for the misguided fools orchestrating this travesty of justice. Maybe some ticket punching for promotions going on?? Spec Ops is best left in the dark and not part of the nightly news, those men provide a unique and necessary service to this country and shpould never be subjegated to this sort of dog and pony show for alleged abuse of some dirtball.

I honestly cannot believe (well, yes I can) that our administration is trying terrorists in a comfy NYC courthouse (and probably keeping them somewhere really nice) and they send our heroes to Baghdad.

This has got to stop. Enough is enough. Utterly and completely disgusting. And, lets not mention the report on the lunatic fringe major that shot up Fort Hood. No mention of islam and no mention of terrorism.
