Interesting Collection of Guns

Postby SHMIV » Wed, 14 Dec 2011 00:46:54

Below, is a link that will lead to a large collection of interesting guns, most (if not all) of which are for sale, if you want to have them shipped from England.

http://www.micksguns.com/index.htm#TwentyFourPages

I'm not advocating doing business with Mick, mind you. I just found the guns interesting, and I wanted to share. Once you click the provided link you will either want to click the "24 pages" link, or scroll to the bottom of the page to view the categories.

Buried with in those 24 pages are a French palm pistol (with a canister mag) and a gold plated .410 shotgun (as well as other things).

Some neat old guns listed there. I thought the flip up rear sights were cool on some of them. Old school ingenuity.

As did I. I'd like to get a rifle with the iron sights. Those iron sights just seem so useful.

I would say my 870 express 20ga or my Ruger 10/22. Just because I've had them both since I was 10 or 11 years old and have killed all sorts of poop with them both. I would like to know the number of rounds that I've put through my 10/22. Wore out the clip so now the bullets just fall down in, gotta get me a new one ordered.

My .17hmr is slowly creeping up there though. It is my "go to gun" for when I take a country cruise and think I may run across some varmints.

Great idea for a thread Dan!
