A "Complement" is a term that is indicative of one thing completing another. I believe the word you were looking for was "Compliment".

Please don't attempt to read anything complimentary about anything that I said. Goading me and everyone else in this forum at every turn is getting tiresome, to say the least. Maybe you should go find someplace else to hang out.
