Gun owners carrying sidearms in State Forest

Postby Reverenddel » Tue, 10 May 2011 16:56:47

Ron Jenkins, the Assistant State Forester for Virginia, sent me an email CONFIRMING that, barring anything unusual from happening, gun owners can BEGIN legally carrying sidearms in State Forests ON JULY 7, 2011.

The NRA and the Washington Examiner, both of which said that the regulation was effective immediately, have it WRONG. Spread the word on the various chat groups and gun lists so that no one gets into trouble for carrying in State Forests prematurely!
