I should have stated "I don't know, maybe there is something...." because I don't know, and really don't care. The fact is that Arpaio has a pretty good re-election rate, therefore he must be pretty good at his job. Some people think he is too tough? opinions are like buttholes ,everyone has one, I fall on the side that supports "tough" cops more than I do tough criminals.

I support "tough" cops, too...unless and until they start breaking the laws themselves and can be proved to have done so.

But again, this is a red herring. Where's the Federal enforcement of the border for which the Constitution calls? If the Feds would do their Constitutionally mandated duty to secure the national border, Arizona wouldn't have to do what it's having to do right now!

well I haven't really seen where the good Sheriff has broken any laws, except the law of political correctness, a law we can and should be doing without anyway. Even the majority of the inmates in his tent city respect the man. The people who seem to have the biggest problem with him are the usual suspects, the victim class of society who want seperate and easier consideration for the crimes they commit.
