Dick Winters the inspiration for the series Band OF Brothers has passed away at age 92... A true hero and patriot he is worthy of all the accolades bestowed upon him.. He and the men he led fought a long hard war for the peace we enjoy today.

'Band of Brothers' inspiration Winters dies at 92

PHILADELPHIA – Dick Winters, the Easy Company commander whose World War II exploits were made famous by the book and television miniseries "Band of Brothers," has died in central Pennsylvania. He was 92.

I think all who learned of this man and is story are richer for the experienceof having learned about it......
