There is well over a billion of them, if they all as militant as we claim they are I suspect there'd be unimaginable bloodshed. It appears most want to be left alone to live their lives, much as we do.

I am aware of the trouble they cause in Europe, which is why I'm wary of them, but even that seems limited to the ones from the dumps ending in -stan.

No one above claimed that they are ALL anything. Don't be obtuse, man! The concept of critical mass and the power of a militant minority is what you need to educate yourself on.

At 10% population density things change in measureable ways. At higher concentrations, they change vastly more. This is exactly how they have expanded in every country that was not overtly conquered via open warfare.

Yes I'm aware (hence I wouldn't be wary of them; pun intended), but the math seems to bear out it really is only a rather small minority causing mayhem.

I know that sounds very PC, but seriously, even using your 10% thats 10% of 2.2 billion (sigh) people...thats 220,000,000, or roughly 220 times the size of our entire standing military.

So if even 10% were out to kill (and lets be honest, long term strategy is not their strong point) would it be a long term campaign of subversion or inbred kids detonating themselves left and right?

In either case it'd be hard to not notice...if the former, all our cities would not so slowly resemble Dearborn, the latter, well, even a blind man would notice.

The other problem is, what can one do about it?

Our freedoms extend to them on this soil too, so, can't just round 'em up.
