Sad part is that pic is blurry as hell (cameraphone), yet the almost heroin addict-like bags under my eyes shine through nicely. sigh. Victoria Lauren was born 1/20/12, took me forever to have time to upload some pics. Working 7 days a week has NEVER sucked more. We can't taker her home yet (preemie), but shes in Ok health now, first day was kind of touch and go, could have lost my wife and the baby as my wifes uterus partially ruptured and would have went full were she not already in observation, but things turned out alright in the end. Poor kid had to have a chest tube put in for pneumothorax, a picc line for anitibiotics, she still has a feeding tube, but they took the chest tube out at least. We just visit every day in the NICU and have to wait for her to gain and keep weight till she can go home, might be up to 3 weeks.
So rattle my bones all over the stones, I'm only a beggar-man whom nobody owns. Oh, see how words as old as sin, fit me like a glove.
I'm here and here I'll stay.

congratulations!!! wow... you've all sure had a tough go of it! very glad you're all on the mend now. one of my nieces was a preemie. we visited her every day. went into the nursery and held her whole bunches. she turned out just fine and i'm sure little Victoria will be, too. before you know it, she'll be home and things can get into a calmer routine. i'll keep y'all in my thoughts.

Hey, Kreutz, Congratulations! That's an exceptionally good-lookin' young'un; particularly since the picture makes it clear she only had a half a chance to begin with. Seriously, my best wishes to you and your family - it must have been a tough two weeks. By the way, it's no wonder she's so good-lookin', and she's sure to be highly intelligent, too. You see, she and I have the same birthday - Jan 20. She'll get a new POTUS for her next birthday, I hope.

I don't think it's a good idea to put that online. WHO KNOWS who's checking? I love big-caliber and longe-range rifles and 1911 pistols, and I've got a few.

I can always use another 1911.
