WTT mid-'70s Rem 870 ex-PD for Mosin NagantHey, the title tells the story.
I have a nice older 870, ex-police Wingmaster I'd like to straight up trade for some flavor of Mosin Nagant. I am most interested in Finn captures and similar items - M91, M91/30, M27, M28, etc. Not interested in M44/M38 carbines (non-Finn, at least) - anyway; I'm open to ideas. Alexandria, FTF preferred. Not in a hurry, looking for the right MN - really like hex receivers too, I should add. Thanks! Adam email or PM me if interested. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Re: WTT mid-'70s Rem 870 ex-PD for Mosin Nagant
Sorry, guys. This is what happens when your head cold makes you become a slug. This is a 2-3/4" chambered, 20" cylinder barreled 12 gauge ex-police Wingmaster. The better pictures I have more closely show the SN and such - it is about a 1974, going by the numbers. Thanks for asking! Adam Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Re: WTT mid-'70s Rem 870 ex-PD for Mosin NagantFYI, Here's a more specific bit of detail describing what kind of MN I'm looking for:
Hex receiver of any date preferred , if round; no date later than 1932. No ugly "billboard" digital importer stamps right on the receiver - only import markings on the muzzle end. Can be M91/30, old M91 Russian, prefer Finn SA stampings but that's not an absolute. Hope that sheds more light on the subject. Adam Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

I changed my mind on the "billboard" import markings - I'm willing to consider those, with the same other details in mind, of course - seems pretty hard to find these otherwise. Thanks! Adam Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Re: WTT mid-'70s Rem 870 ex-PD for Mosin NagantI have a 48 1/2 inch long 1932 hex receiver Ex Dragoon made at Izhevsk. It has the later upgraded rear sight and barrel bands.
What makes this even more desirable is that it is triple dated (rare) 1932r and then 44/50 MO. The serials on the bolt, receiver and magazine well all match. According to this, it has a rarity of 8 out of 10 with the triple stamp: http://www.7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinRarity.htm A few pics (not the best): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It has the accessories and bayonet and I would throw in a few boxes of ammo I have as well. I am in Nova as well in Manassas. ![]()
Re: WTT mid-'70s Rem 870 ex-PD for Mosin Nagant
Thanks for the pics, I am most interested in whether you are comfortable with removing the gun from the stock so I could see what tang markings your rifle wears. I'm most interested in trading for a hex with 1894-1917 date codes, if dated; or traces of Remington circle R codes, or NEW codes - such as arrow F or any capital letter with arrow (typical New England Westinghouse)... would you be willing to do that? I understand if you aren't, but I am very interested in tang markings. Would make all the difference. Thanks! Adam Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
