This is corrosive ammo. S&B "surplus".

It shoots good in my M1A (I paid $205 a case, just over 1000 rounds when I bought mine 6 or 7 years ago.)

If you buy/shoot it remember to clean your rifle like you would a black powder rifle. Hot water to dissolve remove the corrosive salts from whatever they touch, get on, like the barrel, gas system, bolt, receiver, etc. Then dry it off and go over it like you would with standard powders. Some type of powder solvent, scrub, wipe, etc. and then lube and store.

The old rule of thumb is to reclean the gun every day for 3 days but I just go back and look mine over real good and clean what needs it.
