Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VALet's list those places that go out of their way to welcome law-abiding citizens who carry!
We had an Open Carry dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse in Dulles. I know there was one at Moley Bros. BBQ in Sterling too. I'd like to find a credit union that has branches in or near Reston and Chantilly that does not ban carrying. Are you a member of VCDL? Join the VCDL Facebook page

Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAHometown Bank apparently had no guns signs, but then listened to reason and removed them. That gives them high marks in my book!

Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAI know Hard Times in Manassas and the one in Woodbridge allow OC... just ask that there is no consumption of alcohol. The owners and managers are very big on the 2nd Ammendment.
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAGood thread. Thanks for posting!
Wal-mart has never caused me any problems. Starbucks loves us.
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAWings Zone on Staples Mill became my place for wings after Buffalo Wild Wings made their "stand".
Fried Pickles, and a NICE variety of wing sauces! I highly recommend them! ![]()
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAMcdonalds maybe. The Mikky D's next to my house on Rt3/Ferry road didn't bat an eye at the kid with the Glock on his hip one night. Quite surprising really. Caught me off guard. But no one in the place seemed to care. Nice.

Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VA
Buffalo Wild Wings will never see another dime of my money - ever. They invited the law to visit me when I was open carrying one night with my wife and 4 kids in F'burg. F'them. I think BB&T has a corporate No Guns policy. Look for a sticker like this on the front doors or on the main drive-thru teller window:
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VAInteresting. Ive been to several bb&ts here in manassas & im always OCing. Maybe its select locations. But I appreciate the heads up. I will pay closer attention from here on out.

Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VA
The BB&T in my neighborhood used to have a "no guns" sign, I believe, but when I walked in this weekend I noticed the main doors had no signs except for the lobby hours and "smoke free facility". I didn't go to to the back door to look, and I didn't ask. Many tellers are already a bundle of nerves!
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VABB&T in Berryville has a"No Guns" sign on the main door. I will never do business with them.
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VA
Funny you say that. I was going in to close accounts ![]() I invite everyone to come to the range with me. It's as simple as letting me know what day you want to meet up.
Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VA
Sorry for quoting myself, but the BB&T in my neighborhood does have a "no guns" sign. It's not on the door where all the other signs prohibiting smoking, soliciting, etc., and giving lobby hours are located. It's inside a tinted window, down in a corner of the glass, around a corner from the main doors, down low near some bushes. Not very noticeable, but it is there. ![]()
