First I've seen of these. Anyone have any experiences pro or con?

Interesting idea, but I hope there's a proper pocket holster in there.

New to me.
I'm not sure I would like carrying in my pocket, with or without a holster.

I haven't seen these. I did get some 5.11 CCW jeans. I don't like them very much, and they don't work any better than regular jeans. These pants do look interesting. If you get a pair, let us know what you think.

I've been toying with the idea of cutting out the inside pocket of a pair of cargo shorts and wearing a tactical holster underneath. Then I could essentially draw from the cargo pocket but have an actual holder.

If you dont like the special pants, 5.11 makes some nice jackets that facilitate concealed carry.

http://www.productwizard.com/5-11tactic ... black.html
Its got a bunch of secret pockets, and little pads in the big pockets to hide your pistol outline.
My jacket was stolen at college, along with a nice Space Pen. Have not felt like buying a new one unless I can find it cheaper than 130 dollars.

As for the pants, I think I'd rather just use comfortable jeans and a pocket holster. And a standard hip holster at the range.

My only issue with 5.11 is they charge a pretty penny for stuff made in China. I own two pairs of their boots, which actually fit my 10 EEE feet, and I'm glad I got them on sale for under $60. I really wish I had more to spend at Quantico Tactical before they closed their Woodbridge store, they were running 40% off on everything in their store.

As much as I hate to say it, America does not make many quality goods anymore. We are pretty much a service based economy at this point. Fancy expensive stuff still comes from Europe, but in addition to making cheap goods China also makes medium quality goods these days. 60 dollars is a fair price for good boots these days, even if they came from China.

Oh, sure we do. It just doesn't come cheap. But, if you're referring to off the shelf clothing, you're correct - as a matter of a fact, I'm not even sure we mass produce clothing here any more. And yeah, we are service based - there's more margin in it.

I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of CCW pants - don't see the need. I usually just buy my pants a smidge big, which leaves enough room to carry my G23 with an IWB holster.
