You got the jump on me. I still haven't gotten around loading any ammo for my project (.300 Blackout).

I wanted to shoot it with the 16" barrel, get an idea of the accuracy potential, and then have the barrel shortened.

After finding out I can't take a SBR out of VA without contacting the ATF and getting permission I've decided I might be better off to have the barrel shortened and a suppressor permanently attached. That makes it "longer" but then the only tax stamp I need is the one for the suppressor and I can take it home for the weekend.

Nice looking rifle. Come on back and show us some pictures of the targets along with the report on what ammo you shot and how it all works as a package.

Thanks all. I will let you know how it performs after "test and tune" The weight is really good on the rifle considering the light system makes it front end heavy. I also have a Tango Down short vert grip and and M6 weapon light which is a secondary set up, but im happy with how this feels so far.

Once you handle/carry/shoot it a litle bit you won't notice differences in balance you notice when you first pick up a new long gun.

My M1 Garand is muzzle heavy (synthetic stock, Ameaga Ranges scope mount and 2X8 long eye relief scope out front there. It felt funny at first, now it feels "right".

You'll get there, too.

Alright so it turns out the Pig isn't a flash suppressor or comp. It is designed is redirect sound for CQB. So I guess the question is: Does it may it safer to shoot without ears indoors?

Thanks! The gun is smoooth. Shoots tight and quick, great cycle, low recoil. I can feel the difference in the action compared to my old RRA and Colt A3
