My 995 ATI is Complete!

Finally completed my 995 Carbine conversion. I swapped out the original HP Planet of the Apes stock for an ATI stock that looks like the Beretta Storm Carbine. Added a Red Dot sight and a barrel shroud. I actually started this project before I left NY nearly 2 years ago!

This is built on a 9mm Hi-Point Action. Cheap, but reliable! Life-time warranty too!

I am thinking of adding a single point tactical sling. Now I have a scarey looking weapon!

Unfortunately, All my weapons were lost during a boating accident. I brought my collection out for a little sun, and they fell overboard! :(

Awesome! I heard new Hi Points can't us this stock because of some change made. BTW supposedly Hi Point hates these ATI stock and it voids you warranty but you could always put the old one back on if you had to send it in.

I have owned this HP for years! Bought the ATI and had it for a year+ before installing it. Then right after I installed it, but never finished, I had to move because of a job change. Came to VA summer 09. Finally got to finishing it up!

Gee I wonder why they hate the stock... they should embrace it and others so they can get sales out of customizing folks. Besides the HP Planet of the Apes stock is fugly!

This is what I have heard but have yet to confirm. The HP flimsy stock is to absorb recoil. When the ATI stock first came out it did not have the rubber bumper that it does now and caused receiver cracking and of course people blamed HP and sent them in for repair. ATI realized it and fixed it with the bumper but I guess Hi Point is still weary.
