WaPo "Investigation" into illegal guns....

The Hidden Life of Guns

Realco guns tied to 2,500 crimes in D.C. and Maryland

The story looks into how firarms purchased illegally in Maryland are being used in area crimes. Doesn't Maryland have really strict gun laws?

Maryland is one of a handful of states that sends a fired case from each HG purchased to the state police. That way any gun bought in MD can be traced if brass is recovered from a crime...its also the reason we find factory fired brass in HG boxes bought in VA...

They looked and found no problems with the sales records of that shop. Straw purchases are obviously an issue there and reflect a lot of those sales. The shop has no way of knowing unless its obvious. The little baldheaded douche bag in the protest is the kind of jackass that will spin something any way they can to make it go their way. I looked at the poll about gun shops being to blame for crimes and it reflects a disturbing trend of know nothing gun hating buttholes that think the store is responsible for the crimes its customers commit,,.. More BS from the anti gunners....

Wait a minute! Isn't there a case in FL right now concerning police wanting to just browse a FFLs records, but the FFL refused because it is against the law to do so. I.e. they must request a specific record, not a dragnet. In any case, I wonder if WOPO and the FFL holder just commited a felony by reviewing those records. After all, many of them contain SSNs and other sensitive information that was provide to the FFL and the government for a specific purpose only.

Here's the stupidly simple fact - humans can kill each other. Take away guns, as in other nations, and you have stabbings. Take away "combat knives" and they kill each other with machetes. Take away edged weapons, and they use clubs. Take those away - somehow - and they'll kick, beat, and stomp each other to death.

England is an excellent case in point...they outlawed guns and found later that sharp pointy kitchen knives were becoming the new weapon of choice. Guess what happened to them sharp pointy knives...banned too...pretty soon they'll be cutting hands off at birth...

Once again, I say, we need to go back to public hangings at 3 PM on Sunday afternoons. Popcorn and pony rides for the kids and brats and cold beer for the adults. Maybe even door prizes to motivate attendance.
Lord, please protect us today from having to use deadly force.

Yes there was, but I think it was a violation of Florida law and not federal law.

I did a brief search and couldn't find it though, link? What Flordia law would regulate an FFL?

And all of those empties that are sent to the State Police are sitting in barrels, unmarked. What a waste of time and resources.

The words "investigation" and "Washington Post" do not belong in the same sentence.

Sure they do...

DOJ announced this morning that the Washington Post is under investigation for fraud and high crimes against the citizens of the United States. Attorney General DK stated that convictions are certain for the owners, management, journalists, and any employee or affiliate who have committed seditious acts.

They are back at it again today saying that legal gun owners are responsible for cops getting killed. Their skewed logic and blatant lies irritates the hell out of me.
