An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futureconsider all the "changes" we have recently seen, in schools, government, banking etc.
"Dhimmis"(subjugated non-muslims) were allowed to "practice their religion, subject to certain conditions, and to enjoy a measure of communal autonomy" and guaranteed their personal safety and security of property, in return for paying tribute and acknowledging Muslim supremacy.[11] Taxation from the perspective of dhimmis who came under the Muslim rule, was "a concrete continuation of the taxes paid to earlier regimes"[12] (but now lower under the Muslim rule[13][14][15]) and from the point of view of the Muslim conqueror was a material proof of the dhimmi's subjection.[12] Various restrictions and legal disabilities were placed on Dhimmis, such as prohibitions against bearing arms or giving testimony in courts in cases involving Muslims.[16] Most of these disabilities had a social and symbolic rather than a tangible and practical character.[17] Although persecution in the form of violent and active repression was rare and atypical,[18], the limitations on the rights of dhimmis made them vulnerable to the whims of rulers and the violence of mobs[19] An interesting article on EurAbia...America's future http://www.rutherford.org/Oldspeak/Arti ... -Yeor.html 'those who hammer their guns into plows , will plow for those who don't'

Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's future
Hmmm.... I seem to recall other instances in history where a large minority was blamed for the problems of the greater nation.... but where? Could it have been Christian France, or Christian Germany, or Christian Spain?
Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futureYou're right, LFS, it isn't just the Muslims. Groups in power, generally, want to stay in power, and the leaders of those groups in power will do anything and everything to keep it that way. This is true no matter the religion, ethnicity, nationality, or otherwise.

Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futurePredictable responses from the apologists , perhaps they can point to instances where Muslims have "stayed" in power(as they put it) and the general welfare of society has advanced, because that would really be a surprise. Europe on the other hand is in serious decline since the influx in sharia law and enclaves of muslim uber-communities...

Yeah? Well I'm not converting to Islam, nor will I pay tribute...and, I aint about to let the third condition happen if I can help it. Best thing we can do is reject dhimmitude at all costs... No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futurewell nobody can deny the course taken by european nations regarding tolerance and submission to muslim demands, and the situation now being observed there because of it. You can say we all need to "get along", but while you are trying to get along, they will be trying to "get over." Thats just a simple fact that some will not understand until its to late.Europe saw the muslim problem as some on this board do. France passed a secular law stating that all religious assemblies be convened in private settings;ie-at home or in churches ,synagogues etc.. not in public, so as to not offend muslims and spark any kind of retaliatory responses. no surprise to anyone NOT muslim, the Muslims have begun to infiltrate city streets during their call for prayers in a flagrant attempt to violatre the law and show that muslims can disobey the laws of the infidel. and get away with it because the infidel will do nothing in response because they are already in subjugation to Islam in these areas. Again , with all the apologists in the USA, we will be acting just like the weak european nations regarding muslims soon enough, just look at the victory mosque in New York, and all the other "accomodations" being made for muslims.

Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futureand you make my point, they care none for the law, its YOUR law, the law of the infidel. discharging a firearm in the city limits is most likely a crime in or near Springfield(I'm guessing) however they, the happy Ramadan revelors could care less, because what are you racists going to do about it? Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's future
All governments have done this to stay in power. An enemy is a great tool to keep the people unfocused on the governments failures. To be successful all you have to do is pick an unpopular group. However, I would not call this a scapegoating... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_civil ... _in_France
Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's futureIt just came to my attention that a man who wants to be governor of Alabama, has an ad out that say " if you want to get a drivers license in alabama you better be able to speak ENGLISH because we will not be giving the test in any other language if I'm elected"......I might move to alabama just to vote for this guy. This is exactly the kind of leaders we need in this country. If you want to live here, ASSIMILATE!! learn the freakin language...don't expect the american people to "change" to make you more comfy.....

Re: An interesting article on EurAbia...America's future
I like this. I'd also like for our Governor to say something along the lines of "if you want to get a drivers license in Virginia you'd better be able to speak English and KNOW HOW TO FARKING DRIVE because you will NOT receive a license until you can do both." Virginia: Got cash? Promise not to smile in your picture? Congrats, here's your license! Sorry for the threadjack. Morning everyone ![]()
