This is a very well written book by James E Starnes. He kicks ass and names names. He blast both parties. He details how a Government rife with waste, fraud and abuse is the resultant product of congress; catering to those special interest whose dollars are relied upon to fuel lifetime political careeers. I recommend that all my fellow tinfoil haters read this book.

DK, you have more faith in the american voters then I do. it's an off year election so the turn out is generally light. There is entirely to many people out there who believe the bull@@@@ and lies the liberal press feed them.

Brent, I have faith that there will be an election. The who what where and when is a different story. I think we might see some tinkering here pretty soon. I'm partly convinced that's why obama is so smug about not caring how democrats vote for this health care. Perhaps he thinks there is an ace in the hole regarding the left holding power...and not getting ousted because they support his socialist agenda...

Obama's press secretary statement last week may have tipped Obama’s hand “ what you want to let congressional procedures stand in the way of millions of people being without health care” who knows what he will do next.

...and this has what to do with guns? or the second ammendment?

Up next immigration reform...... Millions of grateful illegal....er, I mean... new citizens eager to vote for the left....

Let uus not forget that comrade Obama is anti gun and after he provides free health care to the poor in this country and passes mmigration reform, he will have the support of millions and our guns maybe next.

I have not forgotten. In fact quite the opposite, but politics is so nasty, lets just not talk about it anymore.....its depressing, besides there is nothing we can do about it. The country has been taken over, and the fundemental change that Obama promised, that which got him the whitehouse, is at hand. We are witnessing history. The America I was raised in , is history.

Cat says this bill will cost them 100 million dollars if passed.....but didn't they get a government bailout last year? maybe they will get one every year.


Walmart also says it will cost them in the hundreds of millions of dollars.......Unless?... , unless they drop their own health coverage for employees and go with the "government option......yeah, thats the ticket. ..... stick a fork in us, we're done.

Quite honestly I think there is more that we can do than we might think...I believe this has transformed into a different battle than what we might like...for we wrestle not against flesh and blood...

Aha and thats why old man soros wants universal health care...he's older than the hills and figures with that he might live forever...wrong...

he may be wrong but he did get universal healthcare passed. Thats what passed yesterday, the Senate version of Obama plan, with all the give aways and horse trading, all the new taxes, and enforcement issues including the new IRS laws, Doctor confidentiality clauses(which require doctors to alert feds with any "peculiar behavor" of people who own guns), Federal money for abortion.(Obama lied to Bart "Stupid" Stupack) an executive order does NOTHING to void any legislation. We did in deed witness history.

Yes and now that "they" are fully in power I'm afraid they might not want to leave even when we the people speak this November...they havent listened to the will of the people yet...oh right, they have a "mandate" so they dont have to listen to us. Let me be optimistic and say . . . maybe this bill passing is a good thing. Maybe it woke folks up to the fact that because they didn't get out & vote, this has come to pass. Perhaps this has pulled the wool from folk's eyes and they now see what the Obama/Biden/Pelosi Triangle of Evil is really all about.

As I've reported before - around Ashburn I've seen more & more obama stickers partially peeled off.
