Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

I am looking for a good news story/article that describes VGOF and I need help from you, the members.

I'm willing to pay for the best one. Not sure yet - maybe a $50.00 gift card to AIG Tactical or MagliteSales.com? Maybe a $50.00 check?

There are a few specific elements that need to be included in the article (this is not an all-inclusive list)

1) VGOF has celebrated its first birthday and has over 1,200 members
2) VGOF is here to support Gun Owners in Virginia by:
a) Reporting Firearm-related political actions in Virginia and Nationally
b) Providing a place to discuss and learn (laws, reloading, open and concealed carry, etc)
c) ...?
3) VGOF is a great place to meet like-minded people (gun owners in Virginia)
4) Special member events such as the latest Shoot and Greet and the VGOF OC Picnic
5) The VGOF Marketplace (Buy, sell and trade locally in Virginia)
6) ...? 7) ...? etc...


I would like for this to be a high quality story - "Newsworthy", if you will. Up to approximately one page (approximately 250-350 words?). It doesn't have to be that long, but I don't want it to be much longer than that.

This article may be submitted (by me) to several places such as (again, not all-inclusive)

- Online Press Release websites
- VCDL News
- NRA (American Rifleman Magazine)
- Hunt X3 Magazine
- Other magazines
- Other online venues

(i.e., if I end up selecting one winner, I may still use a couple of others as well).
