TerraLUX has recently released two 1,000 Lumen LED Upgrade modules for Maglite flashlights!

One of them fits the 4, 5 and 6 D-cell Maglite flashlights and the other fits the Mag Charger rechargeable flashlight. I have one of the older model upgrades that's rated at 700 Lumens, and it's amazing, so I can't hardly imagine what the 1000 Lumen model can do!

This image is essentially what they both look like. The connector plug end is different.



These LED's are Multi-mode or Single mode capable. In Multi-mode, each depression of the on/off switch sets a different brightness level. In single-mode, it acts like a regular flashlight with one brightness... REALLY BRIGHT!

Yes, it will. You can place an order and it will be placed on back order. Usually takes about 2 weeks to get them from the manufacturer.

Needs a modified reflector right? Will it fit into Factory LED mags?

it replaces the stock reflector and fits all "new style" Maglites including the LED lights. (lights with serial numbers that start with "D" or "DL")

O I see, it has it's own reflectors built in, interesting. You don't happen to carry heatsinks do you?

No, I don't carry heatsinks. This particular module has all of the electronics and heatsinks built-in.
