The Compensated Bullet

The Compensated Bullet

Postby Chasbo00 » Thu, 08 Dec 2011 12:26:36

Junk science and snake oil, or something new that works?

Comp Bullet offers a new patented system in order to reduce recoil. The new bullet creation is made of a main cavity and advanced vents that concur, when a portion of it outside from the muzzle, to work like a muzzle brake. It allows to limit the recoil effect and reduce the time of double tap.

Let's see....the bullet is probably going something like 1100 fps, and the "muzzle break" portion is maybe 1/4 inch, so is effective for maybe 1/(1100x12x4) seconds, or 20 microseconds, if it does anything at all.

I vote: snake oil.

I vote greatly reduced muzzle velocity and stupidity as well. Ice and eskimos mean anything?
