.50 BMGAnyone know where I can purchase a single (or a few) round(s) of .50 BMG? I'd like to be able to show friends and family what this beautiful cartridge looks (and feels) like.
Re: .50 BMGnever seen it for sale in any local shops. I've allays had to mai-order it.
I can't recall seeing any packaging of less than 10 rounds. If you were up NoVA way I could arrange to sell you a few rounds.
Re: .50 BMGMy son lives in Arlington (works for DoD). How close is that to you and how much would you want? I only want one or two.
Re: .50 BMGHeck, I'll GIVE it to you if you want just one or two rounds. But I'm in far southwest VA 282 miles from Farmville, and I don't don't reckon you're allowed to mail ammo. Is it legal to FedEx or UPS it, and if so, will FedEx and/or UPS accept it? I know they bring it when I order it, but is there some sort of permit or gawdawful hazmat charge required?

Re: .50 BMGThey can be shipped via UPS with ORM-D labels. ORM-D is "Other Regulated Material - Domestic" (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ORM-D)
UPS does not require HAZMAT charges for small arms ammunition shipment. ![]()
Re: .50 BMGPM sent to OP.
